You can very easily take it to 250 bhp and 260 ft lbs with a full 3" decat system from Revolution and a modest increase in boost with a GBE valve but you need to know what you are doing or get help from someone who does.
My fist mods on a 95 Wagonsix years ago from memory.

Id suggest a mixture of the de-cat that Harvey suggests and a TD05 turbocharger and Z4 ECU (both from the 1995/1996 Saloon), because theyre an extremely cheap and simple modification now. With the turbo and ECU alone you should be looking at closer to (a theoretical) 256PS, up from the original 218PS. When you factor in the better flowing exhaust; who knows, you might even see 280?
