If it is.. on the passenger side inner wing there is an aluminium build-plate, which carries the short Japanese chassis number. The Applied Model Number will be embossed onto it. It will either read GC8B48D or GC8C48D.

Decat (if not already) personally i would change the brakes first (if you don't already have uprated calipers) as the 2 pots are ****

will the decat affect the boost? i'm already getting a red light on my boost gauge when first hitting full boost it reads just over 1 bar then drop back to 0.8 or .9 . only does it for a second

It does allow quicker spool up.Is it hitting higher boost in the cold weather or has it done all the time?

Z4 ecu aswell my friend, theres a spare slot for a chip...it also removes the the 112mph limiter....you could get a dawes device and have it set up to 1 bar of boost as the limits 1.2 bar.

Heres a link to the chip for her:

eBay.co.uk: Subaru Impreza ECU Upgrade Chip (item 140047468564 end time 09-Nov-06 11:21:39 GMT)
