Exclamation 2006 JDM Fuel ank - 45l or 60l?

Hi
New to scooby ownership and have me a 2006 STi Spec-c since Friday

First thing I did after picking it up was top up the tank for the drive home. Driving along and watched the needle drop to the 3/4 mark within about 50 miles

I thinks to myself "Holy F*ck" ... or sonething like that

I knew they were thirsty, but that's manic

I get home at about 110 miles and have just under 1/2 tank showing so I go and fill up ... 22l of fuel

So I think "Hairy muff, ut an everexagerating fuel needle" and twoddle down the road, both of us whistling as we go.

Another 190 miles go by and the needle has passed the 1/4 mark and the petrol warning light's come on so i go fill up .... 40l

I thought Scoobs were 60l tanks - or is the Jap import a 45l tank?

Also - does the UK STi easily fit the fuel nozze as mine just lets the tip in (ooer) and when it's full up is jets petrol all over the place instead of clicking .... grrrr

Aha ... thanks

And the fuel nozze thing?
Are Jap fuel nozzles smaller or is it a design thing?

It will have had a piece fitted into the filler to reduce the size to pass through the ESVA test
