As y'all know, have PTMW! for fun ( ) & the Vectra TD for commute ( ).

Well, Welshs and the peeps that service the Vauxhall are 200 yds apart & it was time for the Vectra service yesterday. Worked out the mileage & booked well in advance so that I could blag a courtesy car for the day.

Turned up yesterday, dropped the Vectra in & was told that I had to have the courtesy car back by 18:00 or I couldn't take it No way I don't get back from work 'til 20:30 They dropped me home & I took PTMW! in.

On the way, I remembered seeing Welsh's demo WRX in a village near me - obviously lived there, so I rang them & asked who drove the WRC logoed WRX & was put through to Kev (service manager). Bearing in mind this guy has never met me, asked if I could blag a ride to the Vauxhall dealer in the morning - yup, no problem Top man

Gotta say many thanks m8 Turned up at the appointed time & we had a nice drive in & a yak about scoobs & when I said PTMW! he said "ahh that's you!" (fame!).

Well, Lancaster 7 Oaks have been very good in the past, but I'm going to have to change to Welshs for future servicing to PTMW!
