AFC from 97/98 cars ok on 94WRX?

Dear All,
I'm in the process of fitting a twindump dp onto the the rest of my Magnex system, and will add a Dawes when they arrive in the group buy, so will an Apexi AFC previously fitted to a later car,
A) Fit my early car?
B) Be of any benefit?
C) Need specialist setup?
