PS2 steering wheel and games?

I am just about to buy Playstattion 2 to play driving games such as GT3 and have noticed that there are a lot of driving consoles (steering wheel, pedals etc.) to choose from. Which one would people recommend?
Also could anyone recommend a good rallying game and one with Scoobs in?
