I bought an euro import MY01 2nd hand with only 2000 miles on the clock. The only hassle I had with it was a dodgy syncro from 3rd to 4th (my 1st service and this was also metioned to me by my dealer).

Well, as the miles have increased, and one track day later it seems to have disappeared?? Any thoughts??

 

I,ve had a similar thing.When my MY98 had a couple of thousand miles on it it started to crunch into forth above 4 thousand revs.It took about 1K miles to get really bad but because I was nearly due a service I didn't take it in and over the next thousand it completely cured itself and has been fine since.
