Im planning future mods one my new clutch, flywheel and gear box is fitted within the next couple of weeks. I would like to reach 400bhp or around it.

So far im around 300bhp what other mods would i need to reach as close to 400bhp as possible.

ive got 1993 wrx import with,

power fc & commander & andy f remap
decat
apexi induction kit
440cc injectors
walbro fuel pump
fmic
99/00 wrx import gearbox
lightened flywheel
exedy organic clutch

I know ill need to get a bigger turbo and injectors but what size? and what else do i need. There is someone selling denso purple 550cc injectors at the minute would they be anygood.

would go bigger than the 550 to be honest to give yourself more headroom. I think at 400bhp range you will seriously need to strengthen the bottom end (forged pistons etc) to have and chance of reliability.

 

Whats the closest to 400bhp i can go before i need to fit new internals

 

About 320-340bhp at most I would have though... depends how well its mapped... and depends how long you want it to last???

 

I would diffently be gettin andy forrest to do the mapping again was hopeing though i would be able to get more than on stock internals/

 

I think 350 is the limit on stock wrx internals, be cheaper in the long run to get forged internals and start from that

 

did andy f not have stock internals on his 440bhp wrx ra. I know his was a 2003 but are the earlier import internals abit better?
