Cool HKS Fuel Cut Defender (FCD)

This was bought 2nd hand a while ago but I never got around to fitting it to my car - so it’s up for sale again.

Comes with instructions and as far as I know will fit most turbocharged cars.

These retail for around £110, yours for £55 including P&P.

P.S. This is what it does…….

The HKS Fuel Cut Defender (FCD) is an electronic device that attaches to the factory ECU and raises (or lowers) its preset over-boost limiter. The standard ECU has a safety measure incorporated to prevent potentially dangerous over-boost and when it senses higher than normal boost levels it will cut the fuel supply. This prevents you from raising the standard factory boost setting using say a Bleed Valve or Electronic Boost Controller above the preset level. The FCD "fools" the ECU into thinking that the boost you are running is less than it actually is. The 12 position setting switch allows you to choose how high you wish the limit to be raised, with 12 being the lowest and 1 the highest. You will need a boost gauge, knocklink and lambdalink (or AFR meter) to safely set this up.
