Default Subaru Warranty

I put in a claim for a new alloy, and my dealer sent photos to subaru of the blisters on the inside & outside of the alloy (PFF7).
They accepted the claim & sent a new alloy that i have fitted to my car.
Now subaru have got my old alloy back,They say that the damage was made by stonechips which i don`t accept,And they want me to pay for the new alloy or refit the old one.
Why did they not send out a engineer to check the alloy first?

What paperwork have you been given?

If they have replaced it I would stick to your guns and refuse

Anyway how do you get stone chips on a wheel?

For that matter what has actually blistered ?
