Default Which Grade of Oil would help lesson Piston Slap ??

As Piston Slap is at it's worst when cold Is it better to have a thinner oil on the cold Start Grade ??
i.e 5/40 or 5/50
or a thicker oil when on the Cold start Grade
i.e 10/40 or 10/50 Etc

My98 Approx 83K Miles

Would a thicker grade oil help cushion the Piston Slap effect until warm or is this to much of a Trade off for the Crank Main bearings Etc which would benifit from a thin Grade at startup ??

Thanks
Dean
