I have to say cuscos are the best shocks around if you are into very fast road or track days i had them on my wagon ( not these ones but similar ) and as many old schoolers will tell you my wagon was one of the best handling around

Didnt use them as i put a set on off an old rally car which were already set up to how i needed them. Seem quite stiff when you press down on the struts.

so if you aint used them who has?? did you buy them used cos they dont look brand new, also would it be a bad idea to change the springs to something a little softer, i may be interested but only drive on the road so dont want anything too firm

It's not just the springs, you would need to change the damping to match. Also, they are solid top-mounts. Ideal on the track, very harsh on the road.

Maybe for the track but surely your going suffer using them on our great british roads. I dont know that much about them but from what i have heard on here they are too hard for the road, seems a shame cos i need a new suspension setup soon cos mines on its last legs

Cool

These are not the hatdest i had the full race set up on wagon. no movement what so ever i liked the firm ride because i knew i was in contoll it was almost impossbible to unsettle her. Yet on std suspension i am allways unsettling her because i forget i havent got the firmness that i had with the cuscos. As the old saying goes POWER IS NOTHING WITHOUT CONTROL . I know a few people where amazed at how well my wagon handled. I was quicker that 300 bhp cars in the twisties and mine was std except exhaust and induction

need some for my rally legacy as at the minute its sits on prodrive bilsteins and ebach springs, great on pure tarmac but can't heighten it for the rough airfields, excellent for everyday driving as well, wish i had the money to buy them but at the moment i don't, shame
