Default Low fuel light on imports

Hi
I have a 97 sti type R, and wen needle is as low as i dare let it on fuel gauge i fill up, but never get more than 40 litres of fuel in at a fill-up.

So do imports have low fuel lights/sensors cos heard reports that they don't???

If you have the old dash then you don't have a fuel light, and I think MY97 had the old dash even though it was a facelift.

Don't you panic that you'll run out? I would
