I have a k plate Wrx Turbo Saloon Import and back end has been banging for a couple ofweeks, took it to the garage this morning and it's confirmed my rear shocks are stuffed.

Do I get some replacement shocks from a breakers yard or new ones???? Any comments or suggestions on where to try bearing in mind it's an import I'mnot sure if fitment is same as Uk cars?????

I think you can get KYB's fairly easily but I can't remember the web address.

KYB are an american company who make gas filled dampers either non adjustable or adjustable for reasonable money.

 

Not too sure of the fitment but I got my rear shocks for a UK 99 from www.buypartsby.co.uk - cost about £45 + vat if I remember correctly and they were KYB.
