Just checked the Cone Filter on the WRX 94 Rally car and its to put it a poltie way a bit past tis sell by date. WAY past cleaning it. Went to Halfords RIPSPEED as they are K&N Agents and was told K&N wont supply you with the cone filter you have to buy the whole bloody kit again.

What a complete rip off by K&N, was advised to buy a universal filter and replace the cone with that, now before people say just claim on the lifetime warranty, yeah I would but this car was supplied with the kit already fitted and I didnt get the original receipt plus does the original warranty cover competition use.

Anybody have any filter suggestions or if K&N are reading this please explain why you sell induction kits but not the parts to service them with.

Yeah real Rally car. Spoke to Olly at Roger Clark Motorsport and he is sending me one out, point is HAlfords being a K&N agent should be able to get hold of K&N parts instead of being told by K&N to sell another induction kit. Have already email K&N and had no reply, really good suggestion tho and thanks DarkDestroyer that was going to be my next port of call.
