Howdy. I drive a 95 Impreza with a swapped 2.2, and I am on the other side of the pond wishing to be anywhere else. Where's my cookie?

Or better yet, could someone take a measuring tape and measure how wide the box for the license plate is on the rear bumper? I need a new rear bumper cover (mine's melted ) so I thought I would take the replacement I have off my destroyed Impreza and do a bit of cutting, widening, and playing with 3M's plastic repair.
