Default gearbox

h everyone i have a 94 wrx impreza and the gearbox went in it a few weeks back i've another one being delivered tommorrow and i' going to start it at the weekend any body got any suggestions on it i am handy enough with cars but only have the scooby two months dont know much about them

Garage did mine and a new organic clutch while it was away!

i have done gaer boxs in imoreza,s in 58mins from start to finish with no interuptions
should only cost about a 144+vat in labour
and about 150+vat for a exedy clutch 3 piece

yeah a friend done the clutch a few weeks ago and said it was a pain in the a**e.. didnt think it would be too hard though... any tips on doing it

yeh make sure you take the clutch rod out , behind the starter .. mark up prop so goes back where it came off , some people take downpipe off , usually bolts holding this on a heavily coroded make sure you got a good 14mm spanner . box prob wont just fall off dowels hold it to engine too so prob have to split it away with a screwdriver or something like ,i do this near starter area first ... and like people say it is heavier than you think ... .
