Default VERY URGENT HELP NEEDED ON GEARBOX NUMBERS!!

I am to go to China tomorrow morning and have the chance to buy an RA box for my hill climber Sti.

the gearbox code is

TY 752 VB 1CA, seen a pic of the lable!

Now, the only '1CA' I can find is ty 754 vb 1ca Note! 754 not 752.

Just what spec is TY 752 VB 1CA?

Please help me as i want to buy/refuse this transmission tonight or the crack of dawn tomorrow!

Graham

Just found it thanks to MarkA!
TY 752 VB 1ca does indeed exist as an RA with DCCD @ 4:111 so i would need to change the front diff ratio.
don't know what year it is but i want a dccd trans to help me along.

hope the re-shelling is going ok John.

Graham.

Already is a 4:444 (Sti v3)
Got a plated diff for the rear (Kazz I think)
Plated or OBX (know anything about them?) maybe for the front.

Not at all sure about dccd for hill climbs.

Sorry, I meant, do you intend changing the front ratio to 4.44 in the box you have sourced ?

Yes John as the diff is 4:444 so want to keep that way to allow easy swopping of boxes mid season!

Talking to people about 2 boxes, and both kindly have the patience with me to wait till I'm back from China to make a decision.

Rush/panic over.
