My toolbox has been stolen!
Came back off holiday on Sunday. I live a block of appartments, and inside the building, there is a cupboard that is never used, so I used to live my toolbox hidden under some towls and empty box's. Think the cleaners must have had a rumage around to find it!
Anyway, my fault for not locking it up.
Anyone know a good set of tools +box for not a lot of money. It's only going to be used for service bits and bobs on cars plus the odd job around the house.

I just picked up a dirt cheap set from some guy in a van in Kent... sad he didn't need them any more as he was retiring?

Wasn't there a thread a while back about someone who was miffed at tools and stuff being left in a cupboard in their building? Or did I dream that.

yes there was a thread a while back with that same problem, someone leaving their tools in someone elses cupboard.
As for tools Halfords did a red toolbox with tools for £49.99. dont know if they still do it but it has got more or less everything you would need. The sockets themselves are very good quality, however the actual ratchets I would maybe spend a few more quid on some better ones

Interesting that you drag up an 11 day old thread just to say that.
You must have a very blunt axe.
