just wonderin did any of ye guys ever hear of a model sti type r with OUT c.diff controller???

Think only the non sti type r's came without the DCCD.

Yes and no. Yes there was a 'Type-R' without a DCCD but no, it wasnt an STI. They werent particularly common and a lot of people dont seem to be aware that the model existed. The Applied Model Code for the two door WRX Type-RA was: GC8(x)27D as opposed to GC8(x)47D for a four door Type-RA and GC8(x)2DD for an STI Type-R.

Bet its blue.

There was a silver wrx type r for sale near me recently....(non sti).

The only one ive seen in the flesh.

Did subaru not make a 2 door gl model as well?

I think they're common in Ireland, you see them every now and again in Top Marques.
