Talking That .. throbbbbb

Yo all...

Have a My04 WRX PPP...

Very tempted to change to a STi PPP - brand new car in black.... At 35 years it might be the last time I can do this before - I have to buy something more 'sensible'.

Love my current car to bits.....

Whilst the noise is not the 'be all and end all', what does the new 2.5 STi engine with PPP sound like? As all the burble gone? That's a shame if it’s true.

I have just come back from getting a curry for the family and despite having the car for 2 years, still sat in the car in the garage blipping the throttle to hear 'that sound.

I will of course test drive the new car but wondered what your experience was

lol ... tis sad, but it does sound rather good. I'm told it rattles the wine glasses which are in the kitchen cupboard in the kitchen behind the garage… Mark

Buy an 03-05 stippp stick a private plate on it, and enjoy the superb sound they make at any stage of the throttle response!,Then it can always be tuned extensively within reasonable cost, way beyond anything any normal driver would ever need!
Or you could get one of those 2.5 jobs with dodgey engines and doubtful looks that could have very limited tuning capacity and , they do sound like a sowing machine..........
It's your money!
