i`m gonna be getting a 98` impreza Terzo next week, the problem been that in all the directories, the alarm is stated as been a Cobra 6422, but in this car its a Cobra 5370, now any idea if this alarm is Cat 1, and if not, is it possible to uprate to such without having to fit a completely new system???

Thx

The immobiliser on the Terzo is a CAT 1, and my insurance company (privilage) treat it as such. I do know however that some don't like standard/immobilizer alarm systems on high risk cars.

Unhappy

When I got my Terzo the insurance company refused to insure it with the Cobra unit unless I put a third immobiliser in so I got a Clifford!
