Black 04 WRX, quality car, loving it!

Quick question though (probably a daft one), every 45 seconds or so I hear a funny noise, I can't work out if it is the air intake (most likely) or a slipping belt, sounds like it could be either, any idea? Take it this is common? It sounds louder when the Air-Con is on for some reason.

If its the occasional whooshing noise its the air con you will get used to it!

 

Cheers pal, i'll try it later with the air con off to double check. Never heard the noise before in any air-conned cars, just seems strange.

 

My aircon did that too....kinda got used to it it...

 

I had a Focus St170 which did the exact same, I think it was every 50 secs or so when the air con is turned on, turned out it wa sthe air con pump annd nothing to worry about.

 

yea you get used to it. some times its really loud. darth vader like almost
