Hi,

I'm tying to plan my agenda for the Network Q on Friday 23rd and have heard that the Crychann stage is a fair trudge from the car park.

Could anyone let me know what the estimated time and distance is for this trudge, as I need to know when to leave the previous Rhonnda stage.

Currently am planning to do Rhonnda, Crychann and Brechfa. Do the experience rally followers think this is possible.

I've done Crychan and like just about every other stage it's a fair walk from the car park but that all depends on where you park, how early you get there & where you spectate from. I don't remember thinking that it was any further than any of the other stages I've been to, however we did get there very early so parked a lot nearer to the stage than those that arrived an hour later. I do remember there being very long queues behind us to get in though. I don't know about anyone else but I didn't find Crychan to be as good for speccying as some of the other stages, presumably if you got there early enough and were prepared to yomp miles around the stage to find a good spot you'd disagree.

not done Crychan before, but your best bet would be St Gwynno (get there early), Halfway (excellent - drove right upto stage last year) and then Trawscoed
