Today I fitted a H&S back box to my bugeye but it seems to be pointing slightly towards the near side. I made sure it is hung correctly and everything seems fine. Is this how they are meant to be? Others i have seen looked fine.

My Prodrive and standard boxes were straight.

Try loosening the clap at the join for the back box so that you can rotate the backbox it may be due to a weak exhaust mount allowing the backbox to twist slightly prior to having tightened the clamp during fitting. Just a thought hope it helps m8.

 

I've got the same bb on my bugeye and I've never noticed it being on an angle.

 

i am thinking the bb piping is at fault. Wonder if a exhaust fabricator can do anything with it. As I live in Manchester don't fancy a ride down to Essex!!
