im the pain in the rse newbie asking all the questions!! Please excuse my ignorance but since entering the scoob ownership world on Monday i didnt realise how little i know about my car! Reading various posts on here and wondering wtf people are going on about is starting to confuse me.

My scoob is a 2002 o2 plate bug eye wrx. Ive been told the power output is around 230bhp, bit dissapointing but...... hey, the only way is up!

Just wondering what the engine code is for mine, ive heard people mentioning MY99's and MY00's ??????

Also what turbo will i be running at the mo? Again heard things like TF04, TG35's or summot?

Welcome to Scoobynet and don't feel worried about asking all the questions (Been there, Done that).

The MY you refer to is nothing simpler than the manufactured year. i.e. MY02 = 2002.

Your car should be fitted with a TD04 turbo.

IIRC the MY02 was 225bhp 'out of the box'.
