Saw a few - Blob eye with rally stickers, Blob eye STi silver and blue WRX blob eye. some good racing on the track between the showers - pity the two scoobs in the touring car race didn't last the distance but they were certainly hammering around the track early doors....

 

One of the silver scoobs racing was ours, it caught fire on the 2nd qualifying in the morning, so sadly no racing in the afternoon. Took lots of fire extinguishers to put it out. Don't know what caused it yet

The other silver scoob had a head gasket go I think

and the blue scoob retired just before the chequered flag, don't know what the problem was though

 

Bad luck on the fire - hope it wasn't too expensive. I thought the two remaining scoobs did well and I was gutted to see the blue one retire just as the chequered flag came out. That Audi that won is an awesome pices of kit. Better luck next time

 

Thanks, we are not sure of the cause of the fire yet, engine coming out and being stripped down on the weekend.

The blue scoob, if he had just come over the finish line he would have had 2nd I think, so really bad luck
