WRX STi (not the UK one) or UK MY99?

I cannot decide which way to go on this. I know the performance of the STi is far superior, and better deals are available. I also know that Subaru Dealers wont touch them!! That''s my major cause for concern, as well as the fact that there are so many knicked ones around!
Is this as much of a problem as it sounds?
Where's a good place to look for STi's in the London area? Are there any particularly good garages? Where do owners get their cars serviced? At those garage or Scoobysports etc.?
If I decide to go for an STI, I'm after a 4 door, any advice on which one? My budget is about £14-15K. I'd love to hear from anyone who has an opinion on this and especially those STi owners out there!!
