Default What is the point at which Impreza wheel/tires are too big and instead a detriment?

HAs anyone been able to come to any conclusions as to just how big a set of tires/wheels an Impreza can take, without the handling going away?
I note that Evo mag (I think they often- if not always, give informed opinions) loved the Litchfeild 25 on 225's but said the next years example was too grippy on 235's (I think those were the sizes)????

Have we reached a limit on Impreza tires/wheel size? And if so, is this not a worry for the upcoming 07/08' versions which will likely be the same weight (or if a hatch yet lighter!) as the current, but most likely will ride on at least 225's/235 maybe 245's? TO me this certainly seems like it will be a problem with the next gen Impreza- at least for road use. Maybe the discusion on the forum will ironically change from swapping to bigger wheels and tires to smaller sizes? JL
