Try TEG Sport or API Engines for starters. Lateral are not engine builders.

 

For supply of a 2.5 short block from Lateral, ring 02084205444. He will also give you good advice on any other components and build requirements should you wish to alter a standard 2.5 short block, which is what i am assuming you are after.

An arm, a leg, and possibly a nut as well. I've seen Roger Clarke selling them for £1250 but they may not do it for this anymore - there was a company in the US mentioned on here a while back who were doing them for a good price. I remember kicking myself for not finding them when my bottom end needed replacing.

 

This what i am after thank you, a mate of mine wants to do a 2.5 conversion as his bottom end has just shat itself inside out!!

As a new customer to Lateral, and someone who is away to rebuild their existing 2.5, i'd be inclined to agree as Mark is more than helpful with customer needs. No b/s, wont try and sell you something you dont need and advice is there when needed. I think that the results that customers have had with their car's using L/P supplied parts speak for themselves.

 

I agree with Doug, Give Mark a call for no-nonsense answers.

I have also dealt with Scoot in the past and he has always been well priced and delivered on time.

Api will build you a block to any spec you want, give him a call

 

same as all the other standard USdm 2.5 bottom ends I would guess
