Just been for a test drive in an uk X reg, unmodified and would like to know if the downchange from say 4th to 3rd for an overtake is usually 'rough' for want of a better description?

Or is it just me not being used to the car?

 

I get a lurch sometimes when shifting up on the redline and bringing the power in but downchange has always been fine on mine.
