Default Fuel Hose Leak

I had an FSE pump and Fuelab FPR fitted about a month ago. Its set at 3.0-3.1 bar at tickover (Andy F).

The car developed a leak at the connection between the hose from the FPR and the fuel rail that goes under the intake manifold:

The pic is slightly deceiving as the hose itself is not split at all (quadruple checked!)

The hose is bulging before the jubilee and fuel is forcing past the jubilee onto the fuel rail. Dripping gets quite bad It doesn't matter how tight or loose the clip is, it still leaks.

Is the hose past its sell by date? It doesnt look too bad to me. How do I sort this as its a tad dangerous!

Cheers.

Cheers Carl, I got hold of WUZ and he has suggested sticking a second Jubilee on until he gets back in a couple of weeks. I'll give it a try and see how it goes. I dont trust it to get that far without going up in flames, its fairly dripping. Will post up results of the extra clip here.

...it's only 8mm fuel injection hose Ross, widely available. I wouldn't even start it if it's dripping as much as you say, let alone drive it. I may be in Aberdeen Friday (RGU open day ), if you want i may be able to drop a length of hose in past your house?

Apparantly its 6mm hose, though the FPR connection takes 8mm. This makes it difficult to get the hose onto the FPR, but as the fuel line under the manifold takes a 6mm hose, it helps with a tighter seal. I'll get another clip tonight and take it from there.

I Very much appreciate your offer of help Carl and I may well take you up on it if the extra clip fails to stem the flow
