Hey guys'n gals,

I've just bought a set of aftermarket rear lights and im really struggling to get the originals off.

There are 5 bolts in the rear of the light that sit in the boot which I have removed and 3 bolts in the bottom of the lights which I can't get too!

I noticed a silver pannel below the rear lights itself and im not sure if it clips off or thats where the lights are bolted in?

please help!!!

The light surround is held to the back by a line of black mastic like they fix the windscreen in with so you have to really give it some to prise it off .

 

Noooooooooooo, dont do that. Get a hairdryer and warm the area inside where the light seals onto the bodywork. Once its nice and toasty, it should peel off. A bit gooey, but nice and easy.

Leave the silver panel on the light until you get it off. I think I'm right in saying its just screwed into the lights themselves.
