Arrow Bought a ScoobyECU

Hey guys, I've bought a Scott T ScoobyECU 4 Plug Type. My93 WRX.

I just wanted to get some more advice really.

Will it be ok to just plug it in without the need of mapping?

I spoke to Extreme Scoobies about it and they said they can install it, but they will use a restrictor valve to tone it down slightly. I've spoken to people about getting a Walbro 255 fuel pump but i've been told it will work fine without it. If I do install it myself, do I need to dissconect the battery?

Anything else I need to know?

Thanks in advance!
