is there any companys that will insure cars for 6 months or less cheaply

scoob is for sale and the insurance has run out and dont want to insure it for a full year really because even if i cancel the policy i would still loose a small fee.

Budget stopped doing it years ago mate.

Everwhere will charge you short term rates if you pay monthly and cancel early.

Rule of thumb is
1 months cover you owe 20%of the annual premium
2 months 30% and so on.

PLUS the companies cancellation charge which you need to confirm.

Best bet is insure it with a company who will want to insure your next car as well. Then swap the vehicle details when you change to avoid the sting of cancelling mid term.
