its also signposted as "Yorkshire air museum" from the A64 from York area, quite easy to find.

polite notice to all spectators and comeptitors, please drive sensibly in the area as it causes all sorts of problems if people are racing thro the village/ local area itself.
traffic /local police will be in the area anyway on the day, and there are numerous unmarked cars on the m1-A1 link road and A64.

I've always come up A1, M18, M62 and then cross-country which I find to be a nice quiet road but watch out for a couple of sharp corners and the humped back bridge

Usual caveats apply such as make sure you stick to limits in 30s & 40s with consideration etc - want to be able to come back next year

Is that the "old grandad style" one with not alot else to make you think its a copper apart from the little blue lights in the front grill?
I saw it yesterday, it had pulled some poor unsuspecting victim just off the A64/A1079 roundabout!

But watch out for the old prat in the volvo coming out of the 3rd exit 10ft in front of you. He's a good test of your handling and horn
