Default Prodrive Downpipe & insulating jacket

Hi All,

First post on the forum, and I hope this question hasn't been asked a million times, but here goes. I have a 2004 WRX STi, and my french dealer installed
a PPP for 2 days. But there is not an insulating jacket around the cat section.

Is it normal ??? because some of my friends have one…
I asked few persons in france ( and of course my french dealer ), but nobody
knows...In france, the PPP is not very well known

Thank you for time and help
a little french

Olivier

The heatshield is no longer an insulating jacket over the catalyst, it's now all encased in a steel cover.

Regards

Mike
