Unhappy

I am in a difficult position. I was going to get a WRX next Summer, with the hopes that the world sorts itself out by then. But, the rumors are that the STi will grace the shores of North America in August 2003. The hard part is that I would be so pi$$ed, at myseld, If I had bought a WRX and missed out an an STi a year later. My current car is paid for and runs well. I just need to get one more mod, an ECU, and it will be finished. Thing is I don't drive it in the winter cause I have no space to store winter tires, and my current setup just won't cut it. Plus...I...er...I...never learned to drive a stick. I was thinking I would just sell it next year, bank the cash, buy a cheap beater (piece of crap) car to drive and learn stick, then get the STi in '03. What do you think? I would have more dosh for the downpayment, lower insurance for the time, but a big hit to the ego. Oh, and the misses dosen't factor into the equation, gonna upgrade to a newer model

Talking

Thanks. I needed the encouragement. An added benefit is that I can take the subway, underground there, to and from work, doorstep to doorstep, literally. If needed.
