Got three Legecy Outbacks, 1999, and 2000 regs. Last one was LPG converted, Here is a list of problems that we are having at the moment. would appreciate any advise, help etc.,

1. having problems with the cooling fans, one was on all the while, whjich would overheat in traffic but the the other fan would not come on. Main dealer said after looking at it for an hour, could be the ECU, and you have to fit and new one not a 2nd hand one. Not very helpful, Main dealer wired the both fans to a manual switch in the car.

2. Bad Tick over and Flat spotting on Petrol and LPG. Uneven running. We have changed the plugs, no difference. Main dealer said its all down to the LPG and ECU.

Could I take an ECU off one of the other Outback and fit this this car.

Any advise, or suggestions would be very welcomed.
