Hi all,

Maybe a stupid question, but my MY00 has developed a small oil leak (only noticed it today), dripping slowly from the sump gaurd.

I'm wondering whether the dealer may have over filled the oil past the max level when it was serviced (willl check later) - but would this cause a small leak?

Any other things to check before I drop it back to dealer? Are there any known issues with MY00 leaking? (assume not)

Anything obvious to check?

Neil

If it's leaking after a service then I would check the sump plug and oil filter for leaks. Sump plug should be fitted with a new washer, oil filter can leak if overtightened...

This does involve removing the undertray....you've paid good money for a service, why should you have to get your hands dirty as well? Fire it back to the dealer and give them some earache!
