why does my car feel like it is cutting out?

Default why does my car feel like it is cutting out?

i floor it and at about 5000 revs it seems to cut and drop the revs i think it maybe a fuel cut but any suggestions as to why not many mods on it full decat system and airfilter as far as i know and a dump valve

please help

Could be overboosting.
if you have a boost controler turn down the boost.
If you dont check the waste gate actuator and the wastegate actuator solenoid.

what car? most likely spark plugs or coils

what car well i purchased it as a uk wagon with an sti engine so i think thats what it is if no it has an sti red top manifold and an sti tmic

It's probably down to your decat allowing the turbo to spin faster and hitting the fuel cut before the boost controller has time to open the wastegate.
