There is continuing confusion over the question of warranties on European Imports.

Can a sticky not be posted which sets out the true position ?

This could only be of benefit for users of this site and assist people making an informed car purchasing decision based on facts. I anticipate that Subaru Europe would have no difficulty in getting the facts across - after all, they instructed Subaru UK to get back into line in December 05 and honour the standard European Warranties given by authorised Subaru dealers in other European contries. I can ask them to confirm their position and get their permission to have this posted on ScoobyNet.

We could also email Subaru UK and give them the opportunity to comment on Subaru Europe's position and have this posted on ScoobyNet too !

There have already been numerous posts on the subject though I tend to agree that perhaps new members could be advised to read a sticky on the subject.
