I would like to get air con fitted to my MY00 euro import. Talking to my local Subaru dealer a couple of days ago, I was told that the air conditioning kit was on back order and there would be a delay of a few months before the kits were available. Today the dealer called again to say that a company called Coolair could fit the air con system next week. Apparently the system they fit is no different from the Subaru one. Anyone know who Coolair are, are they reliable and do they normally fit air con units in scoobies?

 

Sounds like you're being misled. Coolair fit all of the dealer ordered aircon for the whole of the country (or at least according to my dealer they do).

The unit in my wife's three month old car has failed twice and just been replaced by them however!!
