gear box Q please
hello all
my syncro's are going on my my96 uk classic bus
would it be feasible to use a ra box...1-4 ok but 5 jumping and swap a working uk ratio 5th into the ra box and pop back on?

I think that you would also need to change the rear diff.
Personally you would be better off with say a P1 gearbox or just get your old one rebuilt, probably cost just as much as the diff and a type RA gearbox and changing the 5th gear ratio.

whats special about the p1 box over a stock uk box?
