My MY97 came with a short shift but I have no idea who the manufacturer was. I find that it is extreemly baulky, particularly when cold, making smooth progress quite difficuly. This is made worse by the engine which seems quite reluctant to lose revs on up shifts.

Has anyone experienced similar problems and would fitting a lightened flywheel help?
