Default clutch fitting

Sti 6 speed My02. Bought top exedy kit from david at Api But now it needs fitting. Ringing round in lincoln prices vary. Bloke in horncastle reckons on £329 including all oil etc. Builds race scoobs for a living so should be good guy I hop. Is this alright or am I having my leg lifted?

Book time is 5 hours labour, plus parts (oil in your case).

Assuming prices include vat
Oil (good quality) £82
Labour £247

Means hes roughly charging you £50 per hour including VAT.

I'm going to drive the 180-mile round trip to API. It'll cost me a tank of fuel, but @ £280 all in, it's worth it.

API's postcode is CV33 9PL if you want to check it out on a route planner.
