Default front indicators badly made.....

Its weird when you pay a fair amount of money for good quality crytsal clear indicators (MY00) and they arent a perfect replacement. Dont get me wrong they look great, but why do they have to be just a few millimeters smaller than origionals, so they just arent quite as snug? Makes me cross that people making these things cant be presise, we pay enough for them.

When fitted they was more movement than i would like and you could just make out the tab on the back that hooks in the bumper when looking close (ie a gap between outside edge of light and bumper). Still, with a little black insulating tape makes the tab a more snug fit holding indicator tight and also blackens the light housing backing so up close you cant see the tab/plastic backing of the indicator. So making it perfect........but why did i have to do that when its a specific product for a specific car.

Rant over.......

insidentally (sp?!) i also didnt use the new bulb housing supplied with the clears as the origional one felt like a tighter fit/seal. Plus the origional rubber tubing on the air equalising tube thingy was poor on the new ones so used one of stock indicators. hey ho. they fit and look good now so must not moan any more!! (just waiting for the silver bulbs to be delivered now as nobody in guernsey seems to sell them!)

lol you got to get out more

you pay good cash for them as you are being ripped off by the seller

the manufacturer is banging them out for pennies and the dealers will charge what people will pay for them
