K&N 57i or Apexi Power intake - which is best
Hi, which of these is best? The only reason i am getting rid of the standard airbox is to fit a fmic which requires its removal. The car is a my00 which i no has a sensitive maf, the car will be remapped once fitted. Cheers in advance for any views.

Depends on how much power you want. Just pick your power target and get the right size K&N cone for what you need. Green do the same custom sizing thing if you prefer green to maroon LOL.
They both make serious filters for competition use and either will work well.

Im using a generic K&N from demon tweeks, which retains the stock inlet size of 78mm, its "rated" to 400bhp on an NA car, so should be easily good enough for 400 for a forced induction car.
There is plenty out there, and as said above GREEN also do the same...

I put a Blitz SUS on my MY99 & it killed the MAF.
I've run a K&N with a BRD remap for 2 years with no probs.
