I always thought it was too low - looks pimped and like its performance has been severely compromised.

The corpse on your driveway looks great though.

18's yes... don't like 17's on classics... had both 17's and 18's on both classic,18's are the way to go...
Regarding the coilovers and height,... it really used to stick well round the twisties, had to keep eyes peeled for pot holes though...
You don't want coilovers, there too noisey, and too hard... going for H&R's on the TypeR... always remember Stickymicky saying to me you'll regret the coilovers... didn't listen to him, now wish I had...
Oh well, STi should be back from the dead towards the end of April...

The blue one went back in June 2005... swapped it for the STi type R... Drove it about for 2-3 months, and its been off the road since due to bottom end bearing failure... It'll be back out shortly...
Coilover wise... dunno, just wouldn't reccommend them... nowt but myther with mine really...
Suppose like most stuff you get what you pay for... and the AVO's suck!!!
Gonna try just going for the H&R's like a few people on here have gone for on there 18's...
It's not a massive drop... but still looks well, and supposed to still drive nice...

I've just fitted some whiteline flatout springs on mine mate. Ment to drop it by 50mm but it's more like 30mm. Looks a lot better than the standard springs. Ride hasn't suffered and it handles great.
