.. as it says the ECU is throughing up a crank sensor error, would this cause ruff running or serious damage?

as its one of the ways the ecu recognises the engine is actually turning,and therefore will allow fuel to be injected to allow it run....then yea it will cause poor running issues..... change it before it fails completly and leaves you stranded somewhere
